MCEA is calling all members to get involved in our union's community service activities. This year we will feature at least one volunteer opportunity in each area. Read about our recent activities below and check out upcoming events. Join us in helping the community.

Want to volunteer?
Volunteer Central is a primary resource for volunteerism in the Greater Baltimore area. It solicits volunteers for events and activities ranging from the Baltimore Book Festival to manning evacuation centers to feeding the hungry. Encourage your chapter, family, and friends to get involved.

Hot Hoops Benefit Basketball Game vs. General Assembly.
The 2008 charity basketball game will be held Wednesday, Feb. 20, 6:30 p.m., at St. Mary's High School, 113 Duke of Gloucester St. in Annapolis. Donations are $5 per person. Proceeds benefit a charity of the legislators' choice. For tickets contact Barbara Mitchell, 410-298-8800 or 1-888-611-MCEA, ext. 204.
